A basic history...
Several years ago James Amos (www.jamesamos.net) began a small theatre company while at university...
It was a student company with many talented individuals passing through its ranks as performers and collaborators.

Before the company came in to its present form there were 3 Christmas productions in collaboration with other theatre companies using amateur performers but maintaining the intensely watchable, professional style theatre which has become synonymous with 'Human Compass'.
These were 'Angels up High' (A Rock and Roll Musical), 'A Lad in a Manger' (A Christmas Pantomime), and ‘Sinnerella’ (A moral version of the traditional Cinderella).
It then began to move in to a more recognisable form with several small productions and excerpts of plays....
Some examples of the work we have produced are - What the butler saw, Krapps last tape and Witch hunt.

The First major Theatrical Production was
'E.G.B.D.F' / Every Good Boy Deserves Favour
By
Tom Stoppard
A promenade performance, based in
This was an innovative performance staged in one venue, allowing audience members free movement around the space with all characters performing at all times, however with an individual focus on a particular scene to enable the through line of the piece to come out.

The most recent major production was an adaptation of Samuel Beckett's
'Words and Music'.
A Radio play, adapted for the stage and directed by James Amos, with Asst. Director Rhiannon Gamble.
This piece was an exploration of the creation of art, and audience experience.
Pictures are available on the media album page of this site.

Since then the company has been involved with small scale productions and workshops while moving to its present state.
We look forward to the future - 'Exploring the human heart and soul'
