Who Are We?

Human Compass is a professional theatre / media company based in Driffield, East Yorkshire and we are a ‘Social Enterprise’.

The education department is called 'Hands on Human Compass' Because we want everyone to have the chance to have a a go, and get their hands on doing activites that you might not normally have the chance to take part in. We know that doing art activities is good for you, both physically and mentally. We also know what a great way it is for you to meet friends and have fun!

The facilitators are all highly trained and experienced, insured, CRB checked and a lot of fun!

What do we offer?

We offer a wide range of workshops and courses which vary in length.

Please contact us to find out about costs.

We are more than happy to tailor or create workshops to your specific requests, please contact us by clicking here.

Seriously Amazing Shakespeare!

Willy didn't write the plays so you could sit in a clasroom, behind your desk being bored silly by them...he wrote his plays for people to act and for an audience (from the 'groundlings'...the poor people on the floor of the theatre, to the Richest of the Rich..the Queen!).                         So we look at the scripts that Shakespeare wrote and have a play around with how we take the characters and the action from the page to the stage!
